Delta blows, bad hotels, nice people, fun gig.

fun gig but hard weekend. delta cancelled our flight without even telling us. diane found out the night before that our hotel was totally scuzzy and moved us into a less scuzzy hotel. actually we stayed in 3 different hotels all of which were not very nice. i think natchitoches is a very very poor part of louisiana. the people were very nice and the gig was great.

it was interesting because adam unsworth plays french horn and he is the band leader. in the french horn world what he is doing is very radical i guess. so some of the stuffy people with french horn visors split. i guess they don't want change. what was left (like always) were mostly younger people and open minded older people who were blown away by what adam was doing on the horn. sounds like he's doing stuff that is pretty unique and difficult on the horn.

the worst part of the whole weekend was delta. between changing our flights and sitting on the runway we were scrambling to get there and back.
